With Drishti, your standardized work audit isn’t limited by the time you have on hand to walk and observe the line. When Drishti AI is creating action data at a station it is always on—generating the information you need to know that standard processes are being followed.
Our Drishti Alerts capabilities allow you to define which actions need to be validated every cycle. These are the activities that are critical to quality and need to be executed well to ensure nothing is missed, out of sequence or taking too long.
These deviations are currently categorized as errors and warnings in the Drishti Portal.
Generally, errors are steps in the standardized work sequence that are performed incorrectly and lead to quality defects. Warnings, in comparison, are not as critical, but are steps performed incorrectly and require review. Cycles completed with warning alerts do not severely impact quality on the line, however they could point to potential issues with productivity or safety.
Our Standardized Work Audit report (formerly named AI Anomalies) details these as a percentage of all cycles and breaks down how many warnings-only cycles, error cycles and good cycles are detected. And, videos are provided to detail what deviations occurred and why they happened.
We’ve enhanced this report and added a deeper dive into what causes the errors and warnings and when they are happening.
The validations chart view answers questions about the frequency of the specific validations. There can be multiple types of validations for every step, such as duration, sequence and presence. When Drishti checks for multiple types of deviations and validates the step, it counts each validation as either an error or a warning depending on your requirements. Now, we break those validation counts down, so you can visualize them in a Pareto chart.
The new Standard Work Audit report also answers questions about when the most errors and warnings are happening by shift and rotation. The shift-rotations chart view shows a percentage of cycles with errors or warnings. So, if a shift-rotation on a specific date shows 0%, the percentage of good cycles is 100%. In this case, 0% is a good thing!
Each category of validation is shown individually by selecting the errors or warnings option on the by Shift-Rotations chart view. When cycles have both an error and a warning detected, they are counted on both charts.
Knowing exactly when standardized work is being performed well or if adherence is an issue, makes corrective action decisions fast and certain. Analyzing shifts and rotations over time surfaces patterns of good and not so good performance to standardized work.
Our new Standard Work Audit report also has some additional filtering features. The report and all of its charts have Drishti Analytics Live View to augment the current Yesterday, Last 7 days and Last 30 days preset date and time filters. Additionally, custom ranges can be selected with options to see data by shift as well as by custom time range. Thirty-day windows are available in the date picker to provide historical information prior to the last 30 days.
Auditing standardized work with Drishti has become easier and more intuitive. Our new Standard Work Audit report helps with quick insights by providing an understanding of how often and when adherence is an issue on the line. And, with better understanding comes better problem solving and a faster path toward corrective actions and process improvements.
