Drishti now provides an official Standardized Work Combination Table as a part of our workflows for continuous improvement (Kaizen) events. We’ve added the SWCT to complete our Kaizen toolset: time and motion data collection, Yamazumi charts and now, standardized work combination tables.
The chart is populated with color coded bars that represent the value added and non-value added action times for machines, and for people working, walking and being forced to wait. Machine and people times are shown in parallel.
Times are also broken out by pieces per action to account for batch sizes. Human times are accounted for by “single piece”. This ensures consistency when comparing Drishti cycle and action times to their target and takt times.
To see total human time per action regardless of pieces per batch, the human time data column can be used as a reference. If you check the “Show cycle times for a single piece” checkbox, this human time data column will update to the "per piece" time.
