Drishti Video Collaboration Tasks extend our tagging and sharing capabilities and provide a new way for quality, industrial engineering and line personnel to work together. With video collaboration, the power of video allows them to share the same objective context for their work — keeping them aligned and productive.
Video collaboration tasks are assigned from a video tag. Whether you are tagging a video from the Search, Training or Gemba screens, you now have the ability to assign a task to a colleague.
Objective evidence of issues on the line can be used to kick off improvement projects, root cause analysis, training and can keep them moving. Problem solving gets a boost from video, while problem solvers get easy to use tools that make Drishti insights actionable.
When a video collaboration task is assigned, an email notification is sent to the assignee.
A new Collaboration Task page is now available on the main menu. Here you will be able to sort and filter all task records. You can view a video collaboration task assignment from the task record or directly from the task link in the email notification.
To take action on an assigned video collaboration task, click the view link from either the Collaboration Task list page or the email notification. The tag and video will be viewable alongside the task assignment description. A comment feed allows team members to coordinate, ask questions, request work and more.
As work progresses, the task records can be reassigned, their descriptions updated and statuses changed. Progress is tracked to completion for closed-loop problem solving.
