We know that process decisions based on huge amounts of cycle and action time data can get tricky. Outliers and longer cycles can throw your averages off sometimes. When specific variations on the line need to be controlled for, whether it’s line stops or materials disruptions, we want to make sure you see the information that is relevant for your needs.
Now, you can achieve your analytic goals and make the right decisions with our new cycle threshold filter. If you want to turn down the noise on the big equipment disruption that kept people waiting last week and check the stability of the manual processes on your line, simply eliminate longer cycles that week and keep up your decision-making momentum.
Our thresholds are set to for normal, long and outlier cycle times and are shown as their difference from the takt times entered in your line setup for the product or products analyzed. The slider is used to define a range as follows:
The cycle threshold filter has been added to all of our analytics pages with the exception of live production trend and anomalies charts. You can access them via the dynamic filtering sidebar.
